What Pres. Biden should say to America now.

Our President should speak boldly to us:

1. A lot is being said about my age. Yes, I am of advanced age. Here's what that means. It means that I know the people who lead other countries, our allies. They know me. They trust me. They do NOT trust Trump. Further, I know how to work with them, and they know that. We have worked together for the purpose of stopping Putin, stopping authoritarianism, promoting democracy, and for the betterment of all our citizens. Trump led an insurrection on our own country to overturn democracy. I am doing the job of leading this great country and I intend to continue doing the job to the end of my second term.

2. I would not ever consider debating Trump. He led an insurrection against our country. We all saw it on television! He’s a convicted rapist. After 60 courts (and many of those judges were judges he had appointed) concluded the election was fair, he continues to claim that the 2020 election was stolen! He constantly repeats that lie and other lies. Trump knows (like Hitler knew) that if you consistently and repeatedly lie to the people, some will believe you. He has divided our country with his lies. He lies at every opportunity. He doesn’t deserve my time. I refuse to stand on a stage with him.
